Description
WorkingAbroad.com is one of the pioneers in worldwide volunteering. We work with international NGO’s at the forefront of wildlife and habitat conservation and research; environmental, marine conservation, healthcare and community development projects.

We are actively looking for individuals to join our dynamic team, to help us research and write content for the WorkingAbroad blog ( www.workingabroad.com/blog)

As a blog writer, you will need to have a spirit of inquiry and research trending or interesting topics to produce absorbing blog material. We are not just looking for the "10 things to do in.." kind of blogs, but high quality relevant content from around the world, be it environmental conservation, international development, politics, travel and ethical tourism, wildlife and animal welfare, scientific research, cuisine, culture, food, travel, photography and anything in between.

We are looking for applicants who are ideally able to produce at least one quality blog post per month and who are fully fluent in English. We want you to write about whatever you are most interested in or passionate about, so as long as it is related in some way to international issues, we would love to hear from you.

What you will receive by joining our team as a blog writer is a recognition and platform for your writing - your work will be accessed and viewed by our hundreds of daily visitors on our website, and promoted across our social media and other online channels. All your work will be accredited to you as a writer. You will also receive a listing on our website as a member of our WorkingAbroad team, and are welcome to link to your own personal website in your bio. This is a good opportunity to gain practical knowledge of researching and writing online articles and also to contribute to the international NGO community.

If you would like to apply, please send an email to aaron@workingabroad.com outlining why you would like to fill this position, your CV/Resume, and an example of your previous writing, if applicable. We will review all applications and get back to you. Please note this is an unpaid position. We are based in the UK, however this position is open to people of all nationalities around the world, as the writing can be done remotely.
